RHC (The Resident Home Corporation) is a non-profit corporation that provides residential, educational, family support and related services to children and adults with developmental disabilities.

helping children and adults with developmental disabilitiesRHC prides itself on the continuum of community-based, residential and school-based services it provides to individuals with disabilities and their families and the critical role it serves to empower, and advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities in communities.

RHC was founded in 1963 by parents of children with developmental disabilities. In its first years, the Resident Home operated a residential school on a 32 acre campus in Monfort Heights which is still home to the agency. By the 1970's, it was decided that people with disabilities could also benefit from community based support that would allow them to remain in their family homes with support from RHC. Since then, the agency has been on the forward edge of providing family and school based support in the community.
